How to add an item to your shopping basket Simply click on the item you are interested in buying. To the left, you will find a brief description of the product and its price. All prices are given in DKK and may also be viewed in USD and EUR. Just to the right of the product, you can choose to add the item to your shopping basket.
After adding a product to your shopping basket, you will notice the product is listed to your shopping basket. By clicking on 'view basket', you can always stay updated on your potential purchases. All purchases are sent by air, and you can expect all in-stock orders to be shipped within 6-7 business days. If an item is temporarily out of stock (during the 7 business days for normal shipment), and is not in stock within another 4 business days, this part of your order will be send as soon as it is back in stock.

Broken or damaged items If an item is broken on arrival, all you have to send us a phot of the broken pieces, together with a copy of your order confirmation, to Illums Bolighus, Amagertorv 6, 1160 Copenhagen K, Denmark. Naturally, we will take full responsibility for the shipping expenses. Remember to save your postal receipt or track and trace number as a documentation of having returned the item. In order for us to reimburse you for the shipping expenses, please contact our Customer Service department by e-mail at customerservice@royalshopping.com. Please note that purchases at royalshopping.com can only be returned to us or to one of our own stores located on Amagertorv in the centre of Copenhagen.

As soon as we have received your returned item(s), we will credit the full amount back to the credit card used. You are responsible for the shipping costs for returned items, unless the return is due to breakage during shipping. However, if you choose to return a purchase within the 30-day money back guarantee, you will of course be credited the amount stated on your invoice. Illums Bolighus is not responsible for minor differences in colour and size among hand made porcelain and glass items. It is part of the charm and uniqueness that no two are alike. As Illums Bolighus does not see this as a mistake, we do not consider such items to be damaged or defective. Therefore, should you choose to return a hand made item because of a minor difference in colour or size, you will be responsible for the shipping costs.
